The 5 day summer and Autumn ski courses will focus on improving your carving skills and general piste skiing technique. Skiing on the glacier in the summer starts early and we should be skiing by 9am each day on the courses. We will provide ski coaching for 3 and half hours each day. Tignes has many other activities for when the snow gets a bit slushy in the summer afternoons. Video feedback is also included every evening at the Hotel Diva before dinner. Head AMP coach and top British ski instructors Simon Halliwell and Mark Gear will head up these courses.

Summer Skiing in Tignes

Tignes has great summer skiing; 16 ski lifts and over 20 kilometres (130 hectares) of runs and a vertical drop of over 750 m, gives you plenty to do. For the summer ski season, the Glacier will be open from 20 June until 30 August 2009 and then reopens late in September. Often there is a  BBQ, music and you can watch some of the pro's that spend their summers practicing here.
