In the last few years the French Alps have seen a number of new British ski schools setting up in many resorts. Their reputation is excellent with smaller groups and highly skilled coaches who are equally as good at skiing. Better still its ski coaching at its very best in English so clients can now develope a better understanding of the sport and the way they ski.

We at AMP are proud to be the local Chamonix specialists for all mountain / off piste development for intermediate, advanced and expert skiers. Our ski instructors hold the highest qualification available through BASI (The British Association of Snowsport Instructors) and ISIA ( International Ski Instructors Association). Now into our 6th Year scince AMP was founded, our reputation as a British ski school for enthusiasts is growing from strength to strength. Meet the AMP team

Mark made Chamonix his home in 1997 to become the first British qualified instructor to work for a Chamonix ski school. He is now one of the few holders of the highly regarded French equivalence and is one of the UK’s leading ski instructors.	Mark Gear
Simon Halliwell is another of the small number of British instructors in Chamonix to hold BASI's International Ski Teacher Diploma. An awesome skier and world class coach, he has taught skiing in Chamonix since 2004.	Simon Halliwell


Claire moved to the Chamonix valley in 2005 and her home is now St Gervais Les Bains. Also qualified to BASI's Highest International level, Claire is a superb coach and a strong competitor on International freeride skiing comps. Her passion for skiing really comes out in her teaching and although she is more than happy tearing down the mountain when competing in freeride skiing.she is also particularly patient with her clients.
